How do I add the OP token to Metamask?

  1. Open MetaMask.
  2. Click mceclip3.png > Expand view.

  3. Make sure you are on the Optimistic Ethereum network and click Import tokens.

  4. Enter the token address (0x4200000000000000000000000000000000000042), symbol (OP), and number of decimals (18). Then click Add Custom Token.

  5. Click Import Tokens to approve.

  6. You can now see your OP balance in MetaMask.
